All travelers visiting India under the e-Tourist/e-Business/e-Medical program are required to carry a printed copy of their approved e-Tourist document sent via email by the Bureau of Immigration of India.

Your approved Electronic Travel Authorization application allows you to enter India under the e-Tourist program of the Government of India. Upon arriving in India, you will be processed by an Immigration Officer at the port of entry. Your biometric information such as photograph and fingerprints will be taken when you are processed by an Immigration Officer in India. Refusing to comply with an Immigration Officer can lead to denial of entry into India and deportation. Being eligible for an e-Tourist does not prevent you from applying for a viesa at an Indian Diplomatic Mission for travel to India.

All the information provided by you, or on your behalf by any designated third party, must be true and correct. An e-Tourist viesa may be revoked at any time and for any reason. You may be subject to legal action if you make a materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation in an e-Tourist Visa application submitted by you.
